A Hexagon Mood

I’ve been in a hexagon mood lately. And hexagons are great “waiting room sewing.”

Mom is having cataract surgery today. So I’m doing waiting room sewing.

See? Hexagons. The muslin ones are for a big project that I’ve been meaning to show you. But the tiny ones are for something I’ve been wanting to start for a long time. Those are half inch hexagons. Crazy.  For a really big quilt that could become a really small placemat.  Because that’s just the way I roll.

Stay tuned……

Barb, I love the tiny hexagons. I have a quilt top my grandmother started that is all hexagons. Is this pattern sometimes called Grandmother’s Flower Garden? I can’t wait to see more.

Hope all goes well for your Mom…..those tiny hexagons will keep you occupied and maybe even seeing stars after working on them, so take a walk every once in awhile!
