Here are a few hints……
Did you guess yet?
How about another hint…..
My coffee this morning. Yum.
Remember this? The microwave. And I still don’t know what those words mean. Anyone have a French dictionary?
What’s this? This pic probably really threw you off. Something new has been added to Dear Hubby’s apartment. A TV! No more watching the washer for entertainment. Well, except for the fact that he only gets 5 channels and 3 of them are in French. Last night I entertained myself watching NCIS-LA….. in French! It’s so not the same. I hate it when lips don’t match words – even when it’s just off a little and the language is the same. This was actually painful. But a bit funny too. New things to entertain. Just what I needed.
Yesterday shortly after I arrived, I remarked to Dear Hubby that the place was dusty. (Nice temps lead to open windows all the time. Thus, dust.) His reply? What? I saved it for you. Figured you’d have the whole place cleaned up in 15 minutes. I knew I should never have given him a link to my blog.
Getting here was quite an adventure. I’m sure I’ll tell you all about it soon. I have much to share. I’ve been saving things for while I’m here. I’ve been looking forward to lots of blogging and sewing. This time I have a project with a deadline… and you know how I am about those deadlines! I’ll share pics of that soon.
And for your commenting pleasure today, how about answering this question…..
How many days can Barb hold out before she gives in to the Timbits?
My mouth is salivating at the thought. But I can’t start on them now and gain 20 pounds while I’m here! I’m holding out as long as possible. How long do you think I can last?
Off for my second cup of Tim Horton’s and back to the washing. I couldn’t wait to start up that cute little washer again. The sewing comes out today too. After all, I have a deadline. And you know how I roll with deadlines.
Hugs from Montreal,
Barb
So glad you made it despite the journey to get there. How sweet of Mark to have some things waiting for you to do.
Oh, go on and get those Timbits. You only live once.
I give the Timbits less than a week, lol! So glad you finally made it there…I heard there was a wild party at DFW the other day, and one woman had her stitching with her–we know it was you, Barb!
Curtis would have said the same thing. He would lovingly have saved things for me to do. What great husbands we have!
I noticed I could translate the microwave, and anything that has to do with food, in any language! Have a wonderful time with Mark!
I was wondering about the Timbits. Maybe five days. Maybe. After the journey you had to get there, I say go for it!
I’m betting you sink you face into them in ONE day! Teehee! Wish I could too!
Davene
Three days! Did you take your sewing machine with you? Have a great time!!
Timbits – I’d say two days — very tempting when you go to Tim’s for coffee. Cannot wait to see your deadline quilt project! Anyway – for each section of the quilt, you NEED to reward yourself with a few Timbits! Enjoying my finger fashion!
If the Timbits are within walking distance, I give you until Monday (while Mark is at work). Otherwise, I think you’ll hold out longer! Glad you made it safe and sound. Have a wonderful time!
Barbara
I can’t wait for your next post, however I think by tomorrow, Sunday at the latest you’ll be off to have some Timbits! After all what goes best with your coffee? Beside they just looked so tempting! Looking forward to your pictures of your deadline project as well!
You Go Girl – right on down to Tim Hortons and get yourself some Timbits!!! I give you my permission!!! Hugs!
